Your data is important to us! Charnwood Discovery’s scientists actively interrogate data and make strategic decisions based on the available information, so data management is a key part of what we do.
Electronic Lab Notebooks
Electronic Lab Notebooks
Electronic lab notebooks (ELN) allow us to easily store and analyse data produced in the lab, whether that’s bioscience, discovery or development chemistry. Using the Dotmatics ELN allows for seamless data transfer between the different departments on integrated projects, as well as keeping a team informed on standalone service projects. This provides peace of mind whilst allowing your project to move forward quickly.
Our chemistry labs are set up with computers at every station allowing our scientists to update their lab note books in real time. This provides an accurate reflection of overall lab progress, whilst access to reaction history across the team means that the unnecessary duplication of work is avoided.
Our open-access analytical chemistry systems are all networked and integrated into our Dotmatics ELN system, providing our chemists with rapid access to the information they need to progress their work in a data-driven manner.
Our Dotmatics ELN system also enables our biologists to capture, store and easily access all experimental write ups and associated data. Our validated screening assays are analyzed using bespoke Screening Ultra protocols within the Dotmatics system. These enable automated processing and curve fitting of experimental data files, allowing for rapid data analysis and improved data quality. Following quality control by our scientists, data is then directly exported from Dotmatics and sent to our clients or synced automatically with the corresponding browser project.
The Dotmatics browser system allows us to seamlessly bring together compound information, including structures, with results from biological and ADME assays for each of our integrated projects. The browser project databases are easily searchable (by result or structure) and enable our project teams to export and visualise results, identify structure activity relationships (SAR) and inform our design make test cycles.
